Every since we started Just One fundraiser we have been totally blessed by everyone's love and generosity. The most amazing thing is that every single day we have had a donation whether it has been a $1 or $50. First we Praise God because he provides all we need and secondly we thank all of you all that are helping to spread the word of Just One! Honestly, when I was first excited about this fundraiser I thought this is going to be awesome we will have the $10,000 we need in no time; all we need is 10,000 people a little crazy now that I think about it, but  hey I believe in dreaming big!  The even more amazing thing is that God is teaching me so much more about faith. We know that we are heading in the right direction of adoption and we know that somehow we will save and raise all the money we need, but what we didn't anticipate was all the faith that we would be building in the process. Just One! Thats all it takes to be apart of something bigger! Obviously you have learned from reading this blog that we care about the orphans in the world and our prayer is that other people will do the same. But sometimes in life it is so difficult to think that you could help or make a difference. But really you can. Do you drink a soda, tea, or coffee that cost $1? Then you could help. My husband and I started thinking and realizing that first of all people want to help but times are tough and it is difficult to help out others sometimes ecspecially in the economy we live in. Then we also thought that people know people and sometimes a ton of people. Just think about how many people you have on your facebook or that you work with. So we are trying something that is a little crazy but just might work. We are asking our friends to sacrifice one drink and send us that one dollar and then to ask their friends. Thank you to all who helped with our Good for Gold fundraiser! We were able to raise over a $1000. We greatly appreciate it! Please continue to pray as we journey through the waiting period of adoption. We will have some upcoming events and continue to tell you guys about our journey. For now, I want to leave you with an awesome verse that I read the other day. James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
